The stone
About Katrina.
Katrina is a fossiliferous stone: the cream ground is interrupted by pale shell sections and small circular fossils that catch the light differently from the matrix. Filled and polished it reads as a refined, lightly patterned cream; brushed and left unfilled it becomes a textural, almost archaeological surface.
