Shutters & Sun Control
In Sahel the sun is the main structural load on a room. Shutters are how you control it — heat, glare, privacy and security in one moving part. We make aluminium, PVC and timber systems, motorise them properly, and detail the box so it does not become the ugliest thing on the façade.
Scope of works
What we actually do.
Everything below happens inside our business — no subcontracted links in the chain.
- 01
Roller shutters
Extruded or roll-formed aluminium with polyurethane-filled slats, built-in or surface-mounted boxes, manual crank, belt or motorised operation.
- 02
Plantation & louvred shutters
Fixed and adjustable louvre panels in aluminium or engineered timber, hinged, bi-folding or sliding on a track.
- 03
Sliding louvre screens
Full-height louvred panels sliding across glazing — the detail that makes a coastal façade look considered rather than covered.
- 04
Motorisation & smart control
Somfy-class tubular motors, wall switches, remotes, sun and wind sensors, and integration with the home automation we install.
- 05
Security shutters
Reinforced slats and locking end-rails for ground-floor and chalet units that stand empty out of season.
- 06
Awnings & pergola shading
Retractable awnings, bioclimatic louvred roofs and tensioned shade sails for terraces and pool decks.
