About Rosa Marwa.
Rosa Marwa is the quietest of the Egyptian pinks — a beige-pink feldspar ground with a fine dark speckle rather than the coarse crystal of the Aswan reds. That fineness is why it is specified for cladding and cill work, where a coarse granite would read as busy at close range. It weathers well and holds its warmth in northern daylight.
